Cafe Bangla presents a Contemporary Tandoori Restaurant, with our skilled and experienced chef, the finest and freshest ingredients and friendly staff all contributing to an excellent dining experience. Cafe Bangla is NOT an Indian restaurant.

As the name implies, it is actually contemporary Bangladeshi.

Many so-called Indian eateries throughout the country are, in fact, Bangladeshi, but appear to simply go with the flow.

Not so with Ali, and he has a menu that doesn’t simply go with the flow either. It is one he is willing to adapt to your needs if at all possible.

Cafe Bangla is a relatively small restaurant, with 48 covers, but it has a growing reputation in the area and is a big hit with locals as well as people further afield.

Chef Ali Hussain was the winner of the British Fusion Food Festival 2008 and also Winner of Taste of Britain Curry Fest Dhaka Sheraton 2009
